PILKINGTON Recs slipped to their second defeat of the season on Saturday with a 30-8 loss at unbeaten Wath Brow Hornets.
The hosts had won all three of their National Conference League Premier Division games before Saturday and they continued their perfect start to ensure Pilks returned from the Cumbria mudbath empty-handed.
The result means Pilks have lost two of their opening four league games and sit eighth in the table ahead of Saturday’s trip to Skirlaugh, kick off 2.30pm.
