CLOCK Face Miners were back on the road again on Saturday at Dewsbury Celtic with their third away fixture on the trot.
The first half was tense with great defence limiting any scoring opportunities.
This was reflected in the half time score line of 0 – 0.
However, Dewsbury were quick to break the deadlock early in the second half with an unconverted try. Clock replied with a Shaun Costello try, converted by Martin Hutton.
A tense 20 minutes with Clock holding a slender lead followed until Dewsbury scored again taking the score to 10 – 6.
In the following set, Lewis Geraghty put a grubber kick through the Dewsbury defence that was pounced on by Hutton.
Hutton converted his own try giving Clock a 10 - 12 lead into the dying minutes of the game.
However, a penalty for offside against Clock at the death levelled the score at 12 – 12.
