A BLACKBROOK XIII will take on NEW Ravens at Boardmans Lane on Saturday 19 November kicking off at 2.00pm with all the proceeds going to the Kaycee Bradshaw Fund Raising Appeal.
NEW Ravens, who are based in the West Midlands, are in the area for the Four Nations Final at Anfield and approached the club with regards to a friendly game.
Blackbrook quickly took the opportunity to support the fund and with the full backing of the Ravens hastily arranged the game.
Blackbrook committee man Dave Hunt said: "I read about Little Kaycee's plight in the St Helens Star and hoped we could do something to help but our Season had finished and I was trying to think of something we could do.
"The next day we received an email from the Ravens asking could we play them in a friendly which was a Godsend."
New Ravens Coach Jason Spafford said they were proud to be asked and it would be an honor to help such a worthy cause.
All support would be appreciated.
