THATTO Heath Crusaders continued their march towards the Kingston Press National Conference Division 1 crown with a solid 44-20 win over Oulton Raiders.

Aaron Dancer opened the scoring with a strong well taken try only for Thatto to be pegged back by the Raiders who scored either side of the half time hooter to take a lead 10 to 4.

Substitutes Bradley Ashurst and Josh Crehan made an immediate impact with the latter crossing for a converted score to make it level.

This was an arm wrestle and Oulton came back again to take the lead before Tracey latched on to another Ashurst burst to cross for his first.

Louie Taylor crossed next after great work by Leicester and Tracey crossed for a well taken solo effort.

Taylor ran in his second from 80 metres before Niall Allen on the opposite wing got in on the act.

The Raiders crossed for a late consolation try but Thatto closed the game out.

Thatto host Millom on Saturday with a success meaning Myton would need a miracle to catch the Donkey Common men, 3pm

The North West Men’s team will KO at Close Street at 1pm against West Bank looking to head to the play offs in great form having dispatched Haresfinch last week.

Thatto Heath FC play their first home game at Platts Field, 2pm.

Thatto’s Women once again head for a RFL Grand FinalThatHeath at The Select Stadium Widnes. KO 3pm. The Women go for a treble of Challenge Cup, Minor Premiers and Grand Final winners. They are looking to lift the Grand Final Trophy for the fourth year in succession.
