Pilks opened the scoring in the first minute of the game through winger Jake Hodgson, before Greg Smith, Ian Stanley and Hodgson again crossed for tries, racking up the score at more than a point a minute in the first quarter.

A Hull score besides the posts did little to stem the flow and normal play was resumed as Mike Garrity dove over for his third try of the campaign before Andy Nisbet and Ryan Hilliard scored breakaway tries to give a half-time score of 42-6

Quick fire tries by Greg Smith early in the second period saw him complete his hat-trick before Hull scored out wide for a consolation effort.

Luke Riley then scored his first of the season diving over from close range after a Ryan Liptrot offload.

Smith's conversion being his first miss in 29 attempts.

The final try of the afternoon went to Ryan Hilliardm as Recs saved the best until last as a neat play around the play the ball saw Garrity send the full-back clear before he showed electric pace to beat his opposite number on the way to the line.
