PILKINGTON Recs have been paired with 1987 Challenge Cup winners Halifax in the fourth round.

And the club have confirmed that the tie will be played at Saints' Langtree Park. It is a very tough draw for the St Helens amateurs, meeting a top end Championship side that featured in the middle 8s last year.

Recs earned their place in the fourth round after beating semi-professionals London Skolars in the last round.

Halifax are one of the better supported Championship clubs and will bring a big following.

The rest of the draw is Batley v Whitehaven, Hunslet v Doncaster, Sheffield v Swinton, Featherstone Lions v Lock Lane, Oldham v Kells, Rochdale Hornets v Siddal, Dewsbury v Bradford Bulls, Leigh v Workington, York v Keighley, London Broncos v Featherstone Rovers, Toulouse v University of Gloucester.

To be played on March 19/20.
