DESPITE getting off to great start Clock Face finally went down to a better Widnes West Bank side in this NWML play off final.

Clock got off to a great start when Mark Hamon went over after two minutes, but this lead did not last to long as West Bank hit back with two converted tries to put them 12 4 up after 15 minutes.

It looked like Clock could be overwhelmed but they dug in and reduced the deficit just before the break when Alan Johnson went over near the posts with Martin Hutton converting.

The half wasn't finished yet as deep into injury time West Bank increased their lead with a converted try.

The second half was another close affair with West Bank once again increasing their lead with another converted try mid way through the half.

Clock were not finished yet as they hit back with Johnson again going over for his second try which Hutton again converted.

West Bank finished the game off minutes from time with a try to seal the win.
