Dockers – who trailed just 14-8 at the interval – were limited to first half four-pointers from Steve Milne and Rich Lamplough.
Meanwhile Thatto Heath under 16s become North West Champions for the third consecutive year. Under 16’s Head Coach Chris Rylatt said: “It’s been an honour to coach and develop such talented lads who I’m sure will progress on to do big things in the game.”
The winners can’t rest just yet as they will be playing Wigan St Patricks in the North West Counties Cup game on 13 September at Mayfield Sports Centre, Chadwick Lane.
