On 20 minutes a superb pass from Dancer saw Louis Taylor go over for the first of his hat-trick which would be part of superb performance by the flying Kiwi.

Jones again converted.

Thatto scored tries again before the end of the half from Roberts and a 40 metre effort by prop Hesketh. East Leeds did manage a try of their won just before the break.

The second half started as per the first with great pressure from the Thatto lads and further tries for Jones and Tatlock both showing great footwork to cross the whitewash.

East Leeds hit back with two of their own tries to give Thatto a nervous period but that man Taylor crossed twice more to put the game to bed and secure the Crusaders second win of the season.

Sean Leicester deservedly took the man of the match but he was run close by Louis Taylor and Andrew Stott.
