BROOK eased into the Second Round of The Ladbrokes Challenge Cup with a comfortable nine try win over the East Midlands outfit.

The visitors opened the scoring in the very first minute a crunching tackle by Jack Parker forced the ball to come loose Brook's forwards quickly drove the ball towards the try line where Danny Fairhurst found Tommy Cunningham who scored an unconverted try in the corner.

Brook should have scored again minutes later following a break from young centre Deon Cross who was making his Open Age debut.

It didn’t long for the visitors to add their second soon after the missed chance Danny Fairhurst raced away from an attacking scrum for a fine solo try.

The Outlaws upped their defence and it was on the half hour mark before crossed again however this score was the first of four tries in the closing ten minutes of the half.

Kyle Smith made the break down the left channel he found Jack Parker in support his inside pass found Jordy Welsby who rounded the posts to score with Stephen Parkinson converting.

Minutes later Welsby was in for his second try following good work from Sean Richardson.

Deon Cross added a try when he broke clear from near half way he dodged any would be tacklers for a great solo try.

Right on half time Jimmy Brown added a try as he chased down a kick through and won the race to the try line Stephen Parkinson added his fourth conversion of the half.

Brook started the second half as they left off the first Scott Davidson broke clear he found Deon Cross in support who sent Stephen Parkinson over in the corner he also added a superb touch line conversion to his try.

Notts pulled a try back as they scored the try their endeavours had earned Winger Sam Campbell found the space to cross over in the corner for an unconverted try.

Brook eased off in the final quarter two tries however came in quick succession firstly Parkinson added his second following a flowing move he also added another touchline conversion.

Finally it was Sam Long who finished off the scoring following good play from Scott Davidson and Jimmy Brown. Jordy Welsby landed the conversion to bring up his sides half century.

The Tisdalls Man of the Match was Deon Cross.

Brook face a sterner test in Round Two with a trip to Whitehaven to play Kells.
