CLINICAL Recs ran in 19 unanswered tries as they put relegation Castleford Panthers to the sword by 104-0.
In a masterclass of finishing, Recs were 40 points up after 20 minutes thanks to tries by Tom Roughley, Andrew Knapper, Mark Ashton, Richard Rafferty, Danny Filson and a Danny Lynch brace. Lynch converting five.
Two more scores before the break to Greg Smith and Phil Henry, both converted, gave the half-time score of 48-0.
The rout continued with Filson bagging his second, closely followed by tries for Danny Halsall, Smith and Rafferty in the opening 15 minutes, before Ian Stanley scored a quick hat-trick, and half backs Smith and Lynch completed their trebles. The biggest cheer went to John Ford who scored his first try of the season after following a Liam Bostock break. Lynch converted a further seven to give him a personal tally of 40 points for the afternoon.
Lynch was AMDEC man of the match.
