BOLD Miners booked their place in the Premier/1st Division final with a tremendous win over the Premiership outfit.
Miners dominated the whole of the first half with a terrific defensive effort and with Goodwin, Norton and Walkden making great breaks the Bulls struggled to get out of their half.

Against the run of play Bulls got the first points of the game to take a 6-0 lead at half time.
Bold continued to press and after good work from Anders and Dumphy, Goodwin found the space to chip through for Smith to pounce on the ball and score just before it ran dead.
An excellent touchline conversion by Webster made it 6-6.
Norton was then the provider, being just held up on the Bulls line but somehow slipping the ball out for to Goodwin to score, converted by Webster, who also slotted a penalty.
Bank Quay responded with a try and then looked to have snatched a win when they scored with a well timed kick to the corner.
With time running out Bold threw all they had at the Bulls and deservingly won the game after Goodwin raced in from 20m out after a beautifully timed pass from Smith.
