BARLA can confirm that the 2013-14 Ace Insurance (Europe) BARLA National Cup will commence on Sunday 19th January 2014 leading to the Cup Final over the May Bank Holiday on Saturday the 24th May at a venue to be announced at a later date.
The current holders are Sharlston Rovers who overcame Wibsey Warriors 31-30 in a classic final this year.
The Rounds are planned for the following dates following consultation with the RFL: Round preliminary/one Saturday 18th January.
Round two Saturday 8th February.
Round three Saturday 1st March.
Round five Saturday 22nd March.
Semi finals Saturday 26th April.
Final: Saturday 24th May (Bank Holiday).
Teams wishing to enter their respective competitions have until the end of December to lodge their entries with BARLA which should be done through BARLA Chair Sue Taylor who can be contacted via email at: secretary@barla.org.uk For any further enquiries regarding entries Sue Taylor can be contacted on 01484 599113.
