Daniel Rowse has been named the 2013 Hattons Solicitors National Conference League Player of the Year.

The Lock Lane half-back was rewarded for a fine season which saw him rack up 187 points to help his side to a third-place finish in the Premier Division.

In 24 appearances Rowse was named man-of-the-match 11 times, crossed for seven tries and kicked 77 goals.

Caldon Bravo (Hunslet Warriors) picked up the Division One player award, with Adrian Mulcahy (Normanton Knights) and Anthony Burns (Kells) tasting success for Division Two and Division Three respectively.

Leigh Miners Rangers were named Media Club of the Year whilst Peterlee Pumas debut season in the NCL was recognised with them winning the Fair Play Award.

Individual award winners included Tom Grant (Referee of the Year) and Shaw Cross Sharks Bennie Richardson who picked up the Secretary of the Year gong.

This year’s awards dinner was held at the Cedar Court Hotel, Huddersfield and the full list of winners was: PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Premier Division: Daniel Rowse (Lock Lane).
