Pilkington Recs admitted to National Conference League

PILKINGTON Recs will be travelling a little further afield than they have been used to having been admitted to the Hatton’s Solicitors National Conference League for 2013.

Recs are one of seven sides - the others being Coventry Bears, Peterlee Pumas, Kells, Huddersfield Underbank Rangers, Hindley, and Wigan St Cuthberts who can now start preparing for life in the Tier 3 competition after formally accepting their invitations to take part.

“I’d like to welcome all seven of our new members into the league,” said Trevor Hunt, NCL Chairman.

“All of them have passed our stringent criteria and been overwhelmingly voted in by the existing clubs.

“Their inclusion will see our membership expand to 48 clubs and everyone involved with the league is looking forward to welcoming them next year.”
