FINCH stalwart John Jackson reached his century of tries for the club - the first try of the match after five minutes.

John Arnold made the initial brake up the middle and Jackson finished it off in style under the sticks with Louis Platt adding the conversion.

Finch didn’t have to wait long for further points as Chris Simm notched a try and skipper Richard Twist dummied his way through for his try with Platt converting both.

Mayfield finally found a way through Finches defence and scored a converted try, before Josh Ainsworth and John Arnold blasted through for two tries both Platt converted to leave Finch 30-6 in front at half time.

Finch soon added to their tally after the break when Ainsworth sent Danny Fletcher racing through with Platt slotting over the conversion.

Mayfield sneaked over for a try and then Finch finished off with tries from John Ainsworth his second and Kev Parylo both converted by Louis Platt who finished with eight goals from eight attempts.

The Haresfinch man of the match was John Ainsworth well supported by Frankie Barkley and Stuart Simmons.
