TWO Saints players have been charged with disciplinary offences committed during their side’s Round 9 fixtures last weekend.
Captain Paul Wellens and team-mate Anthony Laffranchi have both been charged with separate Grade B dangerous tackle offences during their 28-16 victory over Warrington Wolves on Friday.
Wellens’s referral follows a seventh-minute tackle on Lee Briers while Laffranchi is said to have placed his opponent Chris Bridge in a dangerous position in the 59th minute of the game. Wellens
and Laffranchi have until 11am tomorrow (Tuesday) to submit an Early Guilty Plea.
A ban for either would rule them out of Good Friday's clash with Wigan.
