SAINTS winger Adam Swift is set for another spell on the sidelines, while more detail on a return for centre Ryan Morgan should be known next week.

Swift has suffered a recurrence of a shoulder injury he sustained earlier this year, while Morgan is still suffering the effects of concussion as Justin Holbrook’s men prepare to tackle Wakefield Trinity.

“Adam has hurt his shoulder again but Regan Grace will be right to go and will come straight back in for him, which is good,” said Holbrook.

“He had a corked leg which forced him out of the Huddersfield game, and it’s the first game he’s missed since the Wigan match last season.

“Swifty’s injury is not as bad as last time when he missed five weeks. The physio is hopeful of him only missing three games.

“Morgan has had two or three head knocks this year, so we thought he’d better have a few weeks off.

“He isn’t playing this week and will see the specialist next week.”

Wakefield have been in mixed form of late, with a 40-28 loss at Huddersfield being sandwiched between two impressive home and away victories over Hull FC, and Holbrook warned his players not to underestimate them.

“Wakefield have been up and down in the table, but they’ve always been there or there abouts performance wise,” he said.

“I can’t remember them being beaten easily too often. When they have been beaten, it’s not been by much.

“They’re a good, physical side and it’s a difficult place to go and play. We know it’s not going to be an easy task.”
