SAINTS held on to the six-point lead at the Super League summit with a 34-30 win over Wakefield Trinity.
Although Saints scored some fantastic tries to build up a healthy 20-6 lead at the break, Trinity monopolised play in the third quarter to take the lead.
However, Saints picked themselves up off the canvas to regain control and to take the spoils.
