SAINTS drew 14-14 at Castleford on Sunday to stay top of the Women’s Super League.
Tries came from Leah Burke, Sarah Lovejoy and Chantelle Crowl.
Coach Mark Brennan said: “I was really proud of our effort.
“All the players gave 100 per cent and their commitment was second to none. We did a lot of defending in the second half and spent a lot of time in our own half so credit to the women for standing up to the pressure.
“A draw was probably a fair result and it sets up the Challenge Cup game in two weeks nicely.
“Once again massive thanks to all the fans who made the journey over to support the team. We all appreciate it.”
