A DOMINANT first half display set Clock Face Miners on their way to an impressive 22-42 win away at Eastmoor Dragons.

Clock were first to score as slick passing put Michael Carney in for a try out wide before a beautiful offload by Shaun Costello sent Matty Garner in for a second for Clock. Eastmoor pulled a try back as they drove through some sloppy defence.

However, Clock extended their lead with a second for Carney before Luke Leyden forced his way over from close range to give Clock a 6-20 half time lead.

Andy Stanton got on the score sheet early in the second half with a try from a dummy half scoot. However, Eastmoor then staged a bit of a comeback with two converted tries to bring the score up to 18-26. Clock regathered their composure and a break by Lewis Geraghty was finished by the supporting Leyden. Luke Forber notched up another and Ian Webster completed the scoring for Clock with a try in the corner.

Eastmoor finished the game with a try on the final whistle. Jack Highcock landed 4 conversions and a penalty.
