PRESCOT Men won a nine-goal thriller at home to Bowdon.
Mortimer had given them a lead but were 4-2 down midway through the second half.
These days Prescot are made of sterner stuff and a superb final quarter saw Prescot score three unanswered goals from Johnson (2) and Mortimer sealing victory in the final seconds to clinch the three points. With only four points separating the top seven teams in division one there’s all to play for.
PRESCOT Ladies continued their fine run of form with a well earned point against Oldham, the game ending 1-1.
