PRESCOT Hockey men entertained the previously unbeaten and free scoring Wigan to their Sutton home at the weekend and dominated for the whole 70 minutes.
The first half was vintage Prescot moving the ball at pace with flowing attacking moves. Goals from Lomax, Mortimer and Boulton gave Prescot a 3-0 lead.
Wigan had been averaging six goals a game but drew a blank against a well organised Prescot defence. Jay Lomax finished the route with a finely worked penalty corner.
An excellent team performance with Prescot next taking on Knutsford the only other team with a 100 per cent record like Prescot.
