ST Helens Strider Eric Ranson tackled the 13.1 mile North Wales half marathon.
Despite the hills Ranson was 32nd overall in a time of 1:43:29.
The lone distance trail lovers were back on course this weekend tackling the Lakeland 50.
With plenty climbs and descents on route over the beautiful lake district scenery this event is one of the greatest ultra running events in Europe.
Simon Poole, Gary Spriggs and Kev Brennan all completed the gruelling 50 mile event course pictured below.
