CAROLINE Stalker only joined St Helens Tri at the beginning of the year but has quickly established herself as a prominent figure especially in Olympic distance triathlons.
Last Wednesday she placed second in the Army Standard Distance Championships at Cotswold Water Park and continued her unbeaten 2017 record at UK Triathlon sanctioned events as she followed up earlier age group wins in Nantwich and Whitchurch by completing her hat-trick with victory at the City of York Triathlon.
The Southport Half Marathon and 10k also provided some cheer with Mark Ashton making the top 90 in 1:29:03 while Christine Forber's time of 2:11:11 beat her previous PB by over two and a half minutes.
In the 10k Jeanette Fisher placed second in her age group while the juniors continue to shine, Harriet King finishing third in her class at the Blackpool Trawlerman Triathlon.
