ST HELENS Tri have enjoyed another round of success in running and triathlon events.
Kevin Dunbar had another busy fortnight of racing as he recorded sub-40 minute times at the Pennington Flash and Penny Lane Striders 10k races, including a podium finish at the Leigh event.
Two members made the podium at last Saturday's Parkruns, Ian Orford finishing second at Victoria Park in St Helens while Dominic Byrne matched his teammate at the corresponding race in Crosby.
It was a memorable Sunday for the club at the Llandudno Sprint Triathlon, where Phil Ellison followed up last week's age group podium at Ironman 70.3 by winning his division and qualifying for the ETU Draft Legal Championships in Rotterdam.
There he will be joined by Peter Fairclough who also tasted age group success on the North Wales coast finishing just 14 seconds behind his teammate, while Stephen Williams won the M65-69 division.
