PRICELESS sprinted to victory in the headline race at the Armstrong Group Temple Stakes meeting at Haydock Park on Saturday as trainer Clive Cox picked up a double.

Having already seen Harry Angel first over line in the Sandy Lanes Stakes about half an hour earlier, Cox’s second success came from the 11-2 Priceless which prevailed in the day’s main race.

It was also Cox's second successive win in the event following up from Profitable's triumph in 2016 and also marked back-to-back successes for owner Alan Spence and jockey Adam Kirby.

Elsewhere, Yorkidding opened up the afternoon with victory in The Amix Ready Mixed Concrete Handicap Stakes.

Next Rusumaat prevailed in the The Amix Silver Bowl Handicap Stakes.

Following Cox's double, Buying Trouble landed a win in the Stallions Cecil Frail Stakes and Sofia's Rock triumphed in the Amix Handicap Stakes.

And Silent Echo rounded off the racing with victory in Family Support The ABF Handicap Stakes.

The event also saw the unveiling of the new Ray Gilpin Press Room, in honour of the former Racing Post correspondent who passed away in 2015.
