SAM Wardle is a long standing member of the St Helens Tri junior section and has made the step up to senior level in style.
At the Easter Sunday Clitheroe Triathlon he pulled away from the pack with a blistering run stage to take the win by over a minute.
The following Sunday it was the turn of Peter Fairclough to play a starring role at the Kendal Triathlon where he placed fourth overall, missing out on the podium by just 24 seconds.
Lee Stinch put in a remarkable run at the Blackpool Marathon, his time of 3:18:56 knocking over 14 minutes off his PB while it was a day to celebrate for Michael Forber, Kevin Dunbar, Stephen Webb and Chris Forber at the London Marathon as all four club members set a new PB, Michael leading the way with a time of 3:05:26.
