SUNDAY'S race of choice for the club this weekend was no other than St.Helens home town run; the Steve Prescott Foundation 10k.
The race is in its 7th year now and always brings massive support and attraction to the town.
Despite the extremely wet conditions the club came out in force with 64 members donning their team colours in Strider vests to take part; with many others out volunteering and supporting on the course too.
Jon Jo Doherty was fifth overall in the race and first male finisher in a time of 34:47, a special mention goes out to mother and daughter Kylie Maguire and Sue Heaps. Kylie finished in the top 10 females in 44:38 and first female to finish for the club whilst Sue Heaps finished second in her age category with a PB time of 49:14
