Lee Gilmour gave Saints quality in defence and attack after signing from Bradford Bulls.

A Challenge Cup winner in 2004, the Great Britain international was a key component of the 2006 Grand Slam winning team.

Sia Soliola was a popular member of the Saints team despite an injury hit start to his career here in 2010.

A big hitter in defence and an explosive runner, the New Zealand and Samoa international signed off in style with a crucial try in Saints’ 2014 Grand Final win over Wigan.

Peter Shiels won every medal available in his two year stint between 2001-2.

The 6ft 5 forward, known as Stretch, was a key part of the World Club Challenge win over Brisbane and then the Challenge Cup win over Bradford.

The following year he moved up to prop and won the Grand Final against Bulls.

Current Saints skipper Jon Wilkin has been a key part of the Saints since signing from Hull KR at the end of 2002.

He won his first cup against Wigan in 2004 – and more followed with an energetic display in the 2006 final against Huddersfield. Wilkin was part of that Grand Slam winning team of 2006 –gaining further medals in 2007 and 08.

The versatile former international has a good kicking game and has been utilised as a makeshift half in recent seasons.
