FESTIVITIES started early this weekend with a cold Festive Flash 5 mile hosted at Pennington Flash.
A fantastic turnout from all 28 Striders who completed the course.
First male across the line for the club was Kev Brennan in 31:25 followed by 1st strider lady in was Deborah Barrett in 37:30.
Salford ladies 5.25mile was also in full swing on Sunday with the ladies team taking third place.
Rachael Fairclough was first strider in at 34:32, followed by Kelly Hamilton 36:51, Emma Callery 37:28, Lisa Cheers 38:08, Jeanette Fisher 40:02 and Andrea Hill-Jones in 54:21.
Kevin Monaghan also ran much further afield in the Saudi Arabia half marathon.
