ST Helens continued their winning start to the campaign in the North West Men’s Hockey League by brushing aside neighbours Leigh on Saturday.
Lewis Robinson opened the scoring for the home team before Paul Horton and Dean Sullivan added further goals before the break.
Robinson and Horton doubled their personal tallies in the second period, while the defence shut out the visitors to secure a third clean sheet in four matches.
They are scheduled to visit back-markers Northern seconds when the campaign resumes on Saturday week.
