AMATEUR rugby league supporters will be in for a treat this afternoon when five St Helens open age team compete in finals at Widnes - including Thatto Heath A and Haydock in the Premier Division Grand Final of the North West Men's League.
The derby is expected to be the highlight of finals day and kicks off at the Select Security Stadium at 7.30pm.
Earlier in the day Bold Miners will face Wigan St Judes in the Division Three final and Pilkington Recs A will meet Halton Farnworth (3.30pm kick off) in the Division Two final, as the amateur scene in St Helens underlines its strength.
In Division Four Eccleston Lions will take on Rochdale Cobras (11.30am kick off).
