SAINTS will see two more forwards from last year’s crop move on with prop Lama Tasi rejoining Salford and Andre Savelio expected to be move over to Warrington.

Tasi leaves half way through a two-year deal at Langtree Park after failing to make an impression in his 18 games in 2016 and then missing the back end of the campaign.

He joins the Red Devils on a one-year deal.

Salford owner Marwan Koukash tweeted: “It is fantastic having @TamaLasi back home . He is a great addition to our squad and I am sure Ian Watson will bring in at least 3 more players.”

Savelio fell out of favour last term after playing 10 games, mostly at the beginning of the campaign, starting six of those at prop and coming off the bench in the same position for the remainder.

Despite Saints planning around Savelio being one of the club’s props for 2016, he returned to the fold at the start of last term seemingly much lighter, with a view to playing longer minutes in the back row.

Savelio struggled to make the same impression at prop and failed to build on his previous year’s development.

His last game for Saints was the 48-20 defeat by Huddersfield at Magic.

It is understood that the 21-year-old favours back-row, a position he slotted into when he moved to Castleford on loan in July.

A move to Warrington will presumably provide cover for the injured Ben Currie, who is sidelined for six to nine months having torn anterior cruciate ligaments.

Saints have already added two props in Luke Douglas and Adam Walker for next year's campaign - and those two will complement Alex Walmsley, Kyle Amor, Luke Thompson and Greg Richards for next year.
