ST Helens maintained their unbeaten start to the league season with a 5-0 victory away at previously unbeaten West Derby.
St Helens started the quicker establishing control and enjoyed the majority of possession causing problems in attack.
At half time the score was 3-0 with goals coming from Paul Horton, Danny Taylor and Phil Travis, credit also to goalkeeper Mike Hall who saved a penalty in the closing minutes of the half.
The second half followed the same format with St Helens possession, goals from Mark Pendlebury and a second from Horton saw St Helens hit 5 for the second game in succession, a solid display from the back five helped St Helens to their second clean sheet in three games.
