SAINTS have listed Jonny Lomax in the squad for Friday — but will assess his fitness ahead of the clash against Hull KR.

Dominique Peyroux returns while wing Matty Fleming, who was injured at the start of the season, gets his first shout of the campaign.

It is a game Saints need to win - and win well - if they are to have any chance of getting their season moving again.

Coach Keiron Cunningham said: “We have bumps and bruises, and we will evaluate Jonny, but we seem to be OK.

“In terms of halves we may have to go with Jordan Turner and Jon Wilkin but we will have a look at it in training this week to see which is the best combination.

“The least amount of changes the better for us this week.”

The only other option Saints have in the halves would be to put Lomax in there and keep Shannon McDonnell at full back.

Cunningham said: “We get a break after this week, but it would be good to find a way of doing something this week.

“We are determined because it is getting to do or die.

“Hull KR have been phenomenal at times this year and then others you scratch your head.

“They have been a little bit like us at times. I watched them against Wigan and they hung in and probably deserved to win.

“Likewise against Cas and Wakefield they posted a lot of points. We know they are dangerous with the ball, but it is the other side of the ball which will be important for us.”
