In the Premier Division New Street Reserves got back to winning ways and move four points clear at top of league, with a 5-4 win over Old Mill FC.

New Street goals came from Ethan Buckley, David Chisnall, Phillip Dearden and Warren Twist.

Prescot Sun lost ground on New Street after losing 6-4 at home to Boilermakers Arms with David Burns and Karl Foster getting two each for Boilermakers and Gareth Leyland and Liam Platt getting one each.

Tanner Athletic was held 2-2 at home to West Park, Tanner’s goals coming from Steven Baxter and Adam Leadbetter, with Jamie Foster getting both goals for West Park.

Parr Conservative Club and Clock Face game was abandoned after 40mins of the first half due to Parr’s Mark Waring breaking his leg.

Manor Athletic booked a place in semi final with a 2-1 away win over Sutton Junction 3rd, with Darren Magson and Jamie Rattigan getting goals.
