ST HELENS head into the sixth round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup as favourites according to the sponsor.

The Saints are now clear market leaders at 11/4 following their favourable draw against 2000/1 rank outsiders the York City Knights, with the lowest-ranked side left in the competition quoted at 33/1 to stun their Super League opposition.

Leeds are next in the betting at 7/2 and those who think history will be made in the final can take 40/1 now that Kevin Sinfield is the Lance Todd winner at his last attempt.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "St Helens have had the kindest draw on paper and while all neutrals will be cheering the York City Knights on, it would have to go down as one of the biggest sporting upsets of recent times if they were to triumph.

"As sponsors we're very much looking forward to the 6th round ties."
