SAINTS pushed ahead at the top of Super League after recording their first ever home win over Warrington Wolves since leaving Knowsley Road.
Keiron Cunningham desribed his team's performance as "brilliant" but Saints had to survive a scare when they conceded two soft tries late in the game to make it a bit more nerve-jangling than it needed to be.
But apart from that, it was a superb display with Saints' pack dominant and half backs Jon Wilkin and Travis Burns pulling the strings with some excellent passing and kicking skills.
Alex Walmsley produced a man of the match display, with Saints tries coming from Adam Swift, Joe Greenwood, Jon Wilkin, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Tommy Makinson.
Photographer Bernard Platt was there to capture the key moments.
1. Saints pack was immense in matching the Warrington forwards but also keeping a check on the Wolves quick men who did so much damage in the last game.
2. Ashton Sims enjoyed a good duel with Saints front rower Alex Walmsley - but it was a battle that the Saints prop came out on top.
3. Joe Greenwood continued his fine start to the campaign, scoring the Saints' opening try. Alas he was forced off in the second half with a bang to the elbow.
4. Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook puts a block on Ben Westwood's progress.
5. Jordan Turner produced some innovative attacking plays down the left. And here twice lkicked on to set up a try for Jon Wilkin.
6. Jon Wilkin had a storming first half - setting up two tries and finishing off this one from Turner's hack on.
7. James Roby started the game on the bench, and came on after an effective first half an hour from Lance Hohaia.
8. Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook scored Saints fourth try at a crucial time, to keep the Wolves recovery at bay.
9. Tommy Makinson zips in at the corner to make it 30-12 after a fine intercept by Atelea Vea had put Saints in a great attacking position.
10. Tommy Makinson jumps for joy after scoring Saints' final try of the match
