FOUR tries in the first 40 minutes helped Thatto Heath Crusaders get on their way as they beat Oulton Raiders 32-24.
Oulton started well as they scored first through Dom Flanagan, he also converted his try.
Thatto looked comfortable as the game approached the hour mark as they led 32-6.
Newly promoted Oulton never gave up as they gave Thatto a scare with some late scores.
Thatto tries came from David Sutton who bagged a brace, Sean Kenny, Jack Jones and Shaun Quinn all grabbed one a piece with Quinn also converting four tries.
Thatto's next NCL game will is on Saturday at Rochdale Mayfield .
