MARTIN Murray put in a brave performance before losing to unbeaten WBA, IBO middleweight and WBC Interim champion Gennady Golovkin in Monte Carlo.
Put down twice in the fourth round, Murray hung in bravely despite some ferocious punching from the Kazahk fighter.
But 50 seconds into round 11 two punishing right handers to the head saw the referee intervene to end Murray's plucky challenge.
