SAINTS new home kit, produced for the first time by Irish-based O’Neills Sportswear, features a deeper red vee, while the away strip returns to the colours of sky blue and black.

Images of the kits, modelled by the likes of new Australian signing Travis Burns, were released today as the club begins its sales push ahead of Christmas.

“We have engaged with fans and it was clear they preferred a deeper vee, following on from four seasons of the wider but shallow vee,” merchandising manager Steve Law said.

“Working with O’Neills we have produced a much more prominent, enhanced and deeper vee utilising the latest digital printing technology to add depth and texture to the red.

“Sky blue and black have been two of the most popular colours with fans on the Away kits we have produced over the years.

"We asked O’Neills to develop a kit that would feature both colours whilst ensuring it is modern, distinctive and retaining a vee that is synonymous with this club.

“The black speckled vee highlights this superbly and the players that modelled the shirt said it was one of best they had seen. We’re sure it will be equally as popular with the fans too.”

The home shirt is available via the Saints Superstore at Langtree Park and the away shirt will be in stock from December.
