RECS bounced back from the previous weeks disappointment with a 80-10 rout of lowly Askam

Mark Ashton scored the first of 15 tries after two minutes and although the visitors responded with a converted try Recs took control of the game with quick fire tries by Danny Filson, Lynch and a fine solo effort from Andrew Knapper.

With the home side looking dangerous attacking the flanks Ian Stanley and wingman Filson added scores either side of a Ryan Jones try, scoring his first of the season to the biggest cheer of the afternoon.

The result was put beyond doubt in as Recs scored with their first two attacks of the second half, Knapper completed his brace followed by Lynch adding to his tally. The visitors rallied to score a breakaway try before Ste Charlson raced over, resuming normal play.

Lynch completed his hat-trick before Greg Smith scored his 18th try of the season, and Mark Briody added to his season tally.

Kyran Knapper added the penultimate try before the prolific Briody scored his second.
