Mathew Hurst and Ben Walkden
TWO St Helens District under 11s cricket team players are leading county sides this season.
Wicket-keeper Mathew Hurst and all-rounder Ben Walkden, who play for Newton le Willows Cricket Club, are captains of Lancashire under 10s and under 11s respectively.
John Williams, county manager for both age groups, said “Not only are these two young men very promising cricketers they are proving to be excellent ambassadors for our county.”
