BROOK crashed out of this season’s Conference Challenge Trophy as they succumbed in the final quarter of the game to Premier Division side East Leeds.

Ben Walkin forced his way over from close range with Nathan Conroy converting to give Easts the lead.

Brook hit straight back when Stephen Parkinson drifted out to the left and collected a long pass from Danny Fairhurst to squeeze over in the corner.

Brook were soon back on the attack and Danny Fairhurst put in an astute kick over the line for Parkinson to collect and score his second try he also added the conversion.

East Leeds winger Jordan Normanton crossed in the last minute of the half to level the scores at the interval.

Easts hit Brook with two tries early in the second period before Jordy Welsby scored a superb solo try to bring his side back into the cup tie mid way through the half.

Brooks young half back chipped over the defence on half way he collected his kick and repeated his kick over the cover defence and collected again to score to leave his side with only a six point deficit.

That was as good as it got though as Brook’s team tired and East Leeds run in four tries. Jordy Welsby was the Tisdalls Man of the Match and the NL Commercials Players Man of the Match with Scott Davidson and Stephen Marsh in contention.
