REJUVENATED full back Paul Wellens was hailed a warrior by assistant coach Keiron Cunningham after he scored two tries in the win that lifts Saints to the top of Super League .
Cunningham said: “Wello is an absolute warrior. He’s been a full back all his life but we have been playing him in the middle making 40 tackles.
“But he goes back to full back and runs his 15 kilometres – he turns up. Wello and those around him are really trying to set the bar for where we want to be as club.
