A PLAY penned by an award winning writer is coming to the Cinema Bar on Duke Street this Monday.
Cathy Crabb’s The Bubbler will be performed at the venue with an 8pm start on the night.
The story is based on Satan’s fall from grace in Paradise Lost and was a response to events during the riots in the summer of 2011, and in particular attitudes expressed towards the working classes in this period.
Cash Generator boss Peter, embarks on an opinionated battle of wills with easy-going bartender, Paul. They slug it out over the morals and motives of absent regular, Tony Rabonni, who, much to Peter's disgust, appears to be an all-round great guy.
The show contains adult language and lasts for 50 minutes with tickets available at £5 on the door or you can book in reserve behind the bar.
