SAINTS prop Kyle Amor will be out of action for the next three months with the knee injury he sustained in the Challenge Cup defeat by Leeds.

Although the ligament damage is serious, it is not as bad as first feared - with there being some initial concerns that the powerful front rower could have been out for the season.

It means Amor, pending no mishaps, will be back for August as the Super League season begins to hot up.

Saints boss Nathan Brown revealed mixed injury news.

He said: "Mark Percival is two weeks away - he got a really bad cork (dead leg), he had fluid on it and it is a slow process.

"However, the good news is the scan has shown that Jordan Turner did not suffer a bone injury at Leeds, instead it is ligament damage. Although he won't be available this week and maybe not next week but it is going to be shorter than first thought.

"Anthony Laffranchi has nerve damage in his arm that we are not sure about but he is not going to be back in the short term and Willie Manu is still a month away with his broken thumb."
