The visitors got themselves briefly back into the game when Courtney Allette broke away he was supported by Richard Pogson who scored an unconverted try in the corner.

Brook came straight back, however, and a great run from debutant forward Josh Glynn took play deep into the visitor’s half.

Brook’s trade mark play of a quick play the ball and slick handling found centre Mark Webster and he passed his winger Scott Lyon who scored in the corner.

With five minutes left another Jordy Welsby kick caused havoc, giving his side an attacking scrum ten metres out.
