Chorley Panthers 20 Bold Miners 38
BOLD Miners had to dig deep to beat Division One leaders Chorley Panthers to go forward into the quarter finals of the North West Men’s League Cup.
Two tries apiece from captain Matty Norton and Nathan Goodwin led the way for Miners.
Other tries came from Niall Allen, Brad Thompson and Darren Anders, all converted by the sure foot of Adam Welsby.
Grundy Excavations Man of the Match went to Matty Norton, closely followed by the rest of the Bold team in a great performance.
